Southern boys and there first ever Canadian jackfish.

This past weekend I got the chance to take Justin from Texas and the two Chads from Oaklahoma fishing for there first ever Canadian jackfish!! The excitement on the boat was unreal! This is why I love my job guiding fishing adventure's.

The sturgeon action is hot

It's already the second week in June, and the sturgeon action is hot on the North Saskatchewan River! 

Lunker’s Fishing Adventures had its first overnight trip! And a success it was. The walleye were hitting strong. After the storms blew over we were catching one after another, and not only were we catching great numbers.  The size of the walleye were incredible!!

We managed to get two great Sturgeon on the trip as well!

There truly is nothing better for a fishing guide to get a costumer hooked into a trophy sturgeon! Some people will fish there entire life without the chance to feel the power and endurance. That these great fresh water monsters have!

Now offering overnight trips on the North Saskatchewan River

Lunker’s Fishing Adventures is now offering overnight trips on the North Saskatchewan River. The trip will consist of two or three days of exciting fishing for trophy fish on the river.

Included is a guide, wall tent with cots and two or three days of wicked jet boating up the famous North Saskatchewan River.

Over the course of your trip we will target sturgeon, trophy walleye and jackfish just to name a few of the species found on the river. The one thing you can never be sure of when you reel up is, what is going to be on your hook. It could be the scrappy goldeye, whitefish or maybe even a trout. One never knows! This river system is truly one of the most underestimated fisheries around.

The joy of staying with Lunkers Fishing Adventure's is you can relax at the end of the fishing day. Swap stories and pictures around the campfire and tell some tall fishing stories!   

Our overnight trips are going to be the fishing trip of all fishing trips! The great thing is, one does not have to travel far to experience the great fishing that is offered right around the Edmonton, Alberta area.
